Casual Australian employees in the construction and building trades are generally eligible for Portable LSL.

The employer reports the employee's annual earnings values to the LSL agency and the pays towards the employee's future LSL entitlement. If this wasn't the case, the employee (esp Casual staff) would never reach their LSL entitlement and so never receive any LSL at all.
Setting the employee as eligible for Portable LSL
- tick the Portable LSL option in their Contract

- use Reports..Staff..Portable LSL report (it provides a selection for any date range)
